Mayson Edell is a Master of Laws graduate at the University of Ottawa in the concentration of Health Law, Policy, and Ethics. She also completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa. Her primary interests are in health law including personal injury law and professional liability / medical malpractice. She strives to advocate for the safety, effective care, fair treatment, and well-being of others through the courts, research, and academia.

Before Mayson began practicing law, she worked as a licensed Art Therapist under the Canadian Art Therapy Association and as a Registered Psychotherapist under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. In addition to working with clients directly, Mayson published research respecting the promotion of mental health through the arts and presented her work at the 2017 Canadian Association of Suicide Prevention Conference.

Mayson has joined Levy & Associates for their shared passions in resolute Plaintiff advocacy and client-centered service. She places utmost care and drive into every case, no matter how big or small.

In Mayson’s spare time, she enjoys learning about musicians and spoiling her cat, Cyndi-Loo. She has a rock music collection of over 500 albums and is always excited to discover new talent.
